Proudly South African and majority black owned resources group, Seriti, briefed Tétris to deliver a forward-thinking light and modern interior fit-out with an uncluttered contemporary layout. The office design showcases a predominantly neutral and muted colour palette with clean lines.

With all staff located in the open plan environment, specific consideration was given to the positioning and comfort of the executive staff members sharing the space. Workstations were custom designed to the local team’s specifications and a staggered carpet design runs through the centre of the open plan space for an added element of interest.

Communal meeting tables are positioned close to executive workstations to facilitate an informal meeting space. These spaces are further emphasised by the use of rose coloured meeting chairs. Single seater telephone/focus rooms allow for privacy and quiet space away from the general open plan area, with the rose splash of colour is continued throughout collaboration and focus areas.

The reception and waiting is understated and elegant in its simplicity, reflected in the choice of seating. The boardroom and meeting room furniture further echoes this simple elegance with sleek white boardroom tables with a black vinyl centre inlays neatly finished off with an aluminium trim. Great care was taken with the detailing of the furniture and shopfitting to further emphasis the clean, light and modern design.

The two-phase fit-out included the fit-out for Masimong Group, one of Seriti’s consortium members.
